Today, Artur Chilingarov, President of the Association of Polar Explorers, a member of the Board of Trustees of Arctic World Club, celebrates his 80th anniversary. Congratulations from the Arctic World Club President and the Arcticmorgeo Chairman of the Board of Directors Sergey Egorov.
The route will lie across the Kara, Laptev and East Siberian seas. In September, about 80 scientists from Russia, China and Sweden will set out on an expedition to study the ecology and biochemical changes, caused by the thawing permafrost in the East Arctic’s seas and along the Northern Sea Route, the Tomsk Polytechnic University’s press service said on Friday.
600 thousand euro for young patients
The charity bike ride under the sponsorship of Arcticmorgeo has successfully completed.
A great culmination of Cassis to Monaco Cycle Challenge was the charity gala dinner of Butterfly Ball. Thanks to the joint efforts of Caudwell Children we were able to raise vital funds for the treatment of sick children: 600 thousand euro will be sent to young patients in need of expensive operations.
And only thanks to like-minded people, members of the Club and our big team we can provide help avoiding conventions and stepping over stereotypes. While proving that Arctic World Club is a global house because very soon our Arctic ball charity will be held in Moscow within the Arctic Awards on December 1!
